Oats thalipeeth

When people could not think beyond overnight oats, Deepali made something with an Indie twist!



Ingredients

2 cups of oats

Grated corn

Grated potato

Grated onion

Coriander leaves, chopped

Ginger garlic paste

Dhania jeera powder

Red chili powder

Salt to taste

Directions:

  1. Dry roast the oats and powder it.
  2. Mix the following together: grated corn, potato, onion, coriander leaves, ginger-garlic paste, dhania jeera powder, red chili powder and salt.
  3. Add this to the powdered oats. Mix well while adding little water to form a nice dough. Roll into balls and keep.
  4. Using your hands, roll out the balls into thalipeeth. Heat tawa and roast the thalipeeth until it turns a nice golden-brown colour.
  5. Serve hot with a side of curd or chutney.
