Ingredients

1 tbsp kulith flour (horse gram)

1 tsp cumin powder

3 cloves of garlic or 1 tsp garlic powder

1 green chilli, finely chopped or ground

1 tsp rock salt (any salt will do but I like rock salt better)

1/4th fresh lime

Directions:

  1. Extract lime juice and keep aside.
  2. Grind lime skin with little water. Keep it to boil with 1 cup water once it reduces, add garlic, chilli paste, and cumin powder, keep boiling further.
  3. In half cup water mix horse gram flour. Add this paste to the boiling pot and add salt. Allow the flour to cook nicely. Add lime juice and turn off the heat. If you want you can strain it and drink hot.


Tips:

You can add a spoonful coconut milk to it just before turning off the heat, for added taste.
