Oats ladoo is made with a nutritious combination of fiber-rich oats, jaggery and crunchy nuts. What makes ladoo a special sweet is its versatility (it can be made with different ingredients and in fact, every Indian region has a variety of its own!).
Ingredients
1 cup oats
1 tbsp finely chopped walnuts
1 tbsp finely chopped almonds
2 tbsp sesame seeds
2 tsp ghee
½ tsp powdered green cardamom
2 tbsp chopped jaggery
Directions:
- Dry roast the oats, and nuts & seeds separately and grind to a coarse powder.
- Cook the jaggery in ghee. Take the jaggery out on a thali and let it cool.
- Add the oats & nuts powder to it. Add some milk. Mix well and make small ladoos.
- Keep them on a plate and allow to set.
- Store in an air-tight container.
