Ingredients

2 tbsp horse gram 

4 to 5 garlic cloves, minced

1 tsp ghee  

1 pinch cumin powder

1 glass water 

Seasonings: Salt and black pepper powder to taste

Directions:

  1. Dry roast the horse gram till it becomes golden. Allow it to cool.
  2. Once it has cooled down completely, grind it to a fine powder. 
  3. In a bowl mix the horse gram powder with water to make a paste.
  4. In a pan, heat 1 tsp of ghee and add the garlic to it. Once it turns golden brown, add a glass of water and bring it to a boil.
  5. Add the above paste and stir continuously to avoid any lumps.
  6. Add a pinch of cumin powder, and black pepper powder and salt to taste.
  7. Switch off gas and serve the soup while it is hot!
